Ciess is a cyberpunk hacking sim for the Oculus Rift DK1. A “full version” of the game was developed under the new name of Darknet. Check out the Darknet website to see the revisions!
Ciess was the winner of the IndieCade VR Jam in the Open Call division. You can download the prototype for Windows or Mac. (Requires Oculus Rift. Supports Xbox controller or keyboard. Best enjoyed with the controller, some headphones with good bass, and a swivel chair.)
If you don’t have a Rift, there is also a non-VR version for Windows or Mac (use left/right clicks instead of A/B buttons).
The VR jam prototype is a simple strategy game with puzzle and action elements, all built around an immersive cyberspace “Hollywood hacker” fantasy. The current plan is to keep developing and adding depth until the game reaches its full potential.
